ABSTRACT - In the last decade assessment of flicker perturbations in power systems with multiple disturbing consumers is one of the most burning topic between different research groups. There are different research organization focused on power quality as well as flicker perturbations improvement. In the last decade there are different research work presented for the improvement of flicker perturbations between different consumers problem in the field of power. Flicker and voltage level up down is a common in the ruler and suburban area. For the improvement of this problem proposed an improved D-STATCOM, that shows will better power quality of output as compare to other power improvement methods such as STATCOM and others pervious methods.

2 An Analysis of Different Shapes of Ribs at Constant Pitch Ratio in Solar Air Heater

ABSTRACT -Experiments are conducted to assess turbulent forced convection heat transfer and friction loss behaviors for air flow through a constant heat flux channel fitted with different shaped ribs. The rib cross-sections used in the present study are triangular (isosceles), wedge (right-triangular) and rectangular shapes. Two rib arrangements, namely, in-line and staggered arrays, are introduced. Measurements are carried out for a rectangular channel of aspect ratio, AR = 15 and height, H= 20 mm with single rib height, e= 6 mm and rib pitch, P= 40 mm. The flow rate is in terms of Reynolds numbers based on the inlet hydraulic diameter of the channel in a range of 4000 to 16,000. The experimental results show a significant effect of the presence of the ribs on the heat transfer rate and friction loss over the smooth wall channel. The in-line rib arrangement provides higher heat transfer and friction loss than the staggered one for a similar mass flow rate. In comparison, the wedge rib pointing downstream yields the highest increase in both the Nusselt number and the friction factor but the triangular rib with staggered array shows better thermal performance over the others.

3 Design FIR Filter Using Modified Booth Algorithms in VLSI

ABSTRACT -In this In this research work proposed design using modified booth algorithms. In this research work use radix 8 multiplier. A extremely area-efficient Finite Impulse Response filter supported changed Booth multiplier factor is meant and compared with standard filter, during which former reduces each space and delay. The planning of projected filter has been administrated victimization, Radix-8 encryption theme. The results show that the changed Booth number based mostly FIR (radix-8) filter results in smallest space and delay. The FIR filter is changed exploitation carry look ahead adder, that any reduces the delay. The proposed research work shows better result as compare to other previous method in terms of number of gates , ULTs and number of slices For the implementation of proposed research use Xilinx based headwear descriptive language. For the modeling of proposed work use I –Sim amd model simulator. Final result of proposed method shows FIR output in the iSim and model simulator.

5 A Modified G-Shape MIMO Antenna for Wide Band Range with Reduce Mutual Coupling for LTE and Wi-MAX

ABSTRACT - Abstract—In this research work present a modified G shape MIMO patch antenna with parasitic element. Due to this importance MIMO antenna famous day by day, in the thesis work discuss the MIMO antenna based research work and its different properties. Also discuss the problem faces by MIMO antenna, the main problem of such type of antenna is mutual computing, low gain , less directivity and ECC. These are major problems with MIMO antenna. The proposed design shows good result as compared to other previous method’s results on the basis of basic antenna parameters such as VSWR, gain, Return Loss and Envelope Correlation Coefficient (ECC). The proposed antenna shows a wide band and cover LTE and Wi-Max ranges whose frequencies is between 2 to 6.5 GHz. The range of proposed design cover the wireless fidelity and Wi-Max range.

6 Voltage Flicker Reduction And Power Quality Enhancement Using D-STATCOM

Maximum AC loads consumes reactive power, it causes poor power quality in power system. The DSTATCOM is a compensating device which is used to control the flow of reactive power in the distribution systems. The complete background of the compensating devices and power electronic application in compensating devices is presented in this paper and also the compensation using the DSTATCOM modeling is also discussed. The detailed modeling and simulations of different control strategies are presented and implemented along with the necessary equations in the MATLAB simulink using the simpower systems tool boxes. The PI controllers are used for the implementation of the models and are discussed. Simulation results are we discussed and various case studies applied depending on the various loads like resistive, inductive and capacitive on the DSTATCOM simulink models and the simulation results are studied.
