1 A NOVEL Asymmetrical Multilevel Inverter for Higher Output Voltage Levels

ABSTRACT – In this Paper focus on design and achievement of the new topology in a multilevel inverter with a reduction harmonic, size, cost in higher efficiency the main objective of this work a novel three-phase inverter with applicable in induction motor drive in medium voltage application. The main advantage of the new topology is to reduce the THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) lower electromagnetic interference generation and higher output voltage for applicable induction motor drive. This work describes a reduce harmonic in a single phase seven level, Twenty level & Twenty seven level inverter circuit with new level shift pulse width modulation (LSPWM) scheme is purposed. This topology is a combination of a three single level full bridge inverter circuit. There are many topologies of multilevel inverters in literature, popular among them are cascaded H-bridge. In general the control methods of these cascaded inverters are designed an assumption of having all dc source voltages same for all H-bridges. The performance of the purposed a novel seven, twenty three, and twenty seven level multilevel inverter with same number of H-bridges is modified with the inherent benefits & isolated DC sources, The multilevel carrier based Level shifted pulse width modulation methods are used in this topology a seven, twenty three, and twenty seven level output voltage wave forms is shown in FFT window. MATLABE/SIMULINK is used to simulate the inverter circuit operation and control signals.

2 DG Allocation for Voltage Profile Improvement in IEEE 33 Bus system with PSO

ABSTRACT -Power demand increase day by day but the generation is limited. The concept of Distribution Generation (DG) is now become more popular to fulfil the requirement of power demand. But the basic problem is where it is placed. For knowing the placement here need for load flow analysis. The particle swarm optimisation tool is very useful for finding the accurate position of the placement of DG in radial network system. In this paper consider the well known bus system IEEE-33 for placing the DG with the help of PSO.

3 Evaluation of Noise in Image using Wavelet Transform Based Thresholding Scheme

ABSTRACT -Discrete wavelet transform (DWT) has gained widespread recognition and popularity in image processing due to its ability of capturing energy of signal in a few energy transform value. As well as it has also ability to underline and represent time-varying spectral properties of many transient and other non-stationary signals. In DWT de-noising is done only in detail coefficient, this offer advantage of smoothness and adaption. However DWT has a lack of Translation invariance .This Translation-variance is a major problem with the use of DWT for transient signal analysis and pattern recognition applications. De-noising of images with the DWT sometime also give visual artefacts due to Gibbs phenomena in neighbourhood of discontinuities. Image is naturally corrupted by Gaussian noise which is classical problem in image processing. Still image pixel values are highly correlated where adjacent picture element (pixels) have almost the same values. They also contain a large amount of spatial redundancy in plain areas. In addition, a stationary image can contain subjective redundancy. However, human visual system (HVS) presents some tolerance to distortion that depending on image contents and viewing condition. Discrete wavelet transform (DWT) offers adaptive spatial-frequency resolution (better spatial resolution at high frequencies and better frequency resolution at low frequencies) that is well suited to the properties of an HVS (Human Visual System). However the coding scheme is more complex and not applicable in real-time situation because it requires mathematical function. In this thesis, an investigation has been made on suitability wavelet thresholding and translation invariant methods of image de-noising to remove noise using orthogonal wavelet basis. As well as an adaptive thresholding technique is also used along with Translation Invariant Wavelet Transform. De-noising of image performance is shown in terms of PSNR. Some other way of result evaluation in terms of MSE and visual performance.

4 Performance Analysis of PV-BESS for Residential System

ABSTRACT -The demand of electricity increase day by day. Conventional source has own limit. This cannot fulfill the demand now a day due to resource crises. Hence renewable energy source is more important. Hybrid Renewable Energy System (HRES) is a system in which two or more than two renewable energy system get merge together to produce the electrical power. The objective of this paper is to present the literature review of the solar and wind based hybrid system. This paper discusses the feasibility and control strategy of the hybrid system. Also in this paper discuss the combination of PV-BESS for power generation of domestic load.

5 Performance Analysis of Z-Source Fed Single Phase Induction Motor

ABSTRACT - Power inverter plays major role in the industry for variable speed controller.Inverters are used for conversion of the dc power to ac power. Single phase induction motors are now uses for domestic drives like mixer grinder, washing machine etc. The main problem of the Single phase induction motor is starting. Single phase inverter is the most important converter which is used for the conversion of the dc power to ac power for controlling the ac motor. Traditional technique of controlling the ac motor has some limitations which are overcome by the application of recently developed Z-Source inverter. In this thesis a new approach is discussed for starting of the single phase induction motor. The performance is checked in the MATLAB software.
