1 Adaptive thresholding based Medical Image Denoising Using Wavelet Transform and Diffusion Filter

Abstract-Image denoising has become an essential exercise in medical imaging especially the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computer tomography (CT), and Ultrasound imaging. This work synopsis proposes a medical image denoising algorithm using an adaptive filter structure for discrete wavelet transform. The presence of noise in biomedical images is a major challenge in image processing and analysis. Denoising techniques are aimed at removing noise or distortion from images while retaining the original quality of the image, we are also going to apply a bank of digital filters which consist of median filter, average filter and diffusion filter. This research will compare the efficiency of the wavelet-based thresholding technique at different level in the presence of random noise and examines the performance of thresholding techniques for wavelet family in denoising a medical image, using the Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR), the Mean Square Error (MSE) value and Mean Absolute Error evaluation factors. Based on the statistical measures and visual quality of the medical images, our proposed approach will overcome the traditional and existing wavelet based approaches.

3 Voltage Stability Improvement Using SVC in Transmission Line At Different Location

Abstract— Power system stability is defined as the ability of power system to preserve it’s steady stability or recover the initial steady state after any deviation of the system’s operation. In this paper shunt FACTS device-SVC is used in a two area power system for improving the power system stability. SVC plays an important role in improving the transient stability, increasing transmission capacity and damping low frequency oscillations. In this paper the voltage stability has been checked out at different location of SVC. MATLAB-SIMULINK has been used as an analysis tool in this study.

4 Eucalyptus Oil –Palm Kernel Oil Blends

Abstract-Fuels derived from biomass are mostly preferred as alternative fuels for IC engines as it is abundantly available and is renewable in nature. As most of vegetable oils are edible, growing concern for trying non-edible and waste fats for alternative to petro diesel has emerged. In present study diesel fuel is completely replaced by bio-fuels namely methyl ester of palm kernel oil and eucalyptus oil in various blends. Different blends of palm kernel oil and eucalyptus oil are prepared on volume basis and used as operating fuel in single cylinder diesel engine over a variable compression ratio engine by varying the compression ratios.

5 Enhancing IPv6 Transition Technologies to mitigate Security and Performance Issues

Abstract-IPv4 is a foundation of Internet communication. Designed many years ago the protocol is inadequate in modern networks. New sixth version is replacing the older one. It is often repeated that IPv6 was designated to solve some security problems. This statement is true only to some extent. IPv6 deployment for the future infrastructure will have large impact, not always positive on many aspects of Internet services: network performance, data security, economy. As number of IPv6 networks grow, new threat awareness and understanding become more important. The paper attempts to present comprehensive survey on IPv6 security and to identify many issues of data security in the transition from IPv4 to IPv6 phase.

6 Design and Analysis of Two Wheeler Chassis

Abstract-Automotive chassis is an important part of an automobile. It forms the bones of a vehicle. The chassis serves as a frame work for supporting the body and different parts of the automobile, it should be rigid enough to withstand the shock, twist, vibration and other stresses & its principle function is to carry the maximum load for all designed operating condition safely. An important consideration in chassis design is to have adequate bending stiffness along with strength for better handling characteristics. Therefore, maximum shear stress and deflection are important criteria for the chassis design. Chassis is a major component in a vehicle. In two wheeler chassis different type of failures are occur due to static and dynamic loading condition. In this present work static and dynamic load characteristics are analysed using FE models from this work. It is found that identifying location of maximum stress area in static analysis and Shear stress, equivalent stress, directional velocity for various chassis.

7 Commitment-Based Approach for Social Web Services

Abstract-Web service is one of the most important information sharing technologies on the web and one of the example of service oriented processing. A social networking web service is a platform to build social networks or social relations among people who share interests, activities, backgrounds or real-life connections. This paper discusses how social Web services are held responsible for the actions they take at run time. Compared to (regular) Web services, social Web services perform different actions, for instance establishing and maintaining networks of contacts and forming with some privileged contacts strong and long lasting collaborative groups. Assessing these actions’ outcomes, to avoid any violation, occurs through commitments that the social Web services are required to bind to. Two types of commitments are identified: social commitments that guarantee the proper use of the social networks in which the social Web services sign up, and business commitments that guarantee the proper development of composite Web services in response to users’ requests. Detecting commitment violation and action prohibition using monitoring results in imposing sanctions on the ‘‘guilty’’ social Web services and taking corrective actions.

8 A Novel DTC Method for Multilevel Cascaded H-Bridge Inverter Fed Induction Motor Sensor less Drive

Abstract-Direct Torque Control with Multilevel Inverter (DTC-MLI) has process recently in high dynamics AC drives fields for induction machines. In this paper, we are presenting a new techniques i.e multilevel concept in DTC method. Simulations are carried out in Matlab-Simulink. The results demonstrate the great performance of multilevel inverter in DTC induction motor drive.
